People nowadays are more adventurous when it comes to food. Media's coverage of out of the way places, distant locales and exotic nibbles has made everyone more curious of unfamiliar cuisines. One of the ethnic cuisines that is getting more popular in the US today is Vietnamese. The more common choices are pho and spring rolls but I predict, pretty soon Americans will know a lot more than these.

One of the most comprehensive Vietnamese cuisine websites I've found online is Andrea Nguyen's Viet World Kitchen. It has articles that feature Vietnamese food and culture, a recipe archive, information on the basics of the Vietnamese kitchen, a guide to locating Asian markets and recommended reading materials.

I find the features very useful in truly understanding Vietnamese food in its Proper context.
