My daughter is going through a phase of picky eating (I hope it's just a phase) and is refusing green veggies at the moment. She'd eat cauliflower just fine, but wouldn't touch broccoli. Red bell peppers are ok, but not the green. Chick peas are fine, green peas are -you guessed it correctly- not fine. Green leafies? Don't even bother. Truly, getting her to eat anything green these days is like giving petmeds to the house cat.

I know that many wouldn't think twice of sneaking vegetables into kids' meals so they don't notice them, but I'd rather ride this phase first and hope that with regular offers of green vegetables, she will eventually begin to like them again.

But yes, I must admit I've already had to resort to a little subterfuge. I made some Zucchini Bread a few days ago and it was well appreciated! I'm making another batch and freezing it!
