Turmeric helps prevent arthritis

Researchers at the University of Arizona found that the spice therapeutic effects that could prevent rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis. It seems also possible for turmeric to treat other inflammatory disorders such as asthma, multiple sclerosis and inflammatory bowel disease.
Turmeric is a rootcrop that looks similar to ginger
but has an orange hue. I have a handful of the fresh spice in my vegetable crisper at the moment. Let me go through some of the recipes and see what I can cook.[photo from the BBC]
