This Weekend's Food and Drink Festivals

It's October and even though the King of Oktoberfests in Munich, Germany ended yesterday, the rest of the globe hasn't put down their steins yet!

The Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado kicks off today and offers three days of live music, great food and over 1,800 beers to try.

The brewers in Maryland invite you to the 7th Annual Maryland Brewer's Oktoberfest this Saturday in Timonium, Maryland. Go for the German food, go for the Oompah bands, and definitely go for the beer!

If beer isn't your thing, there's Apple and Cider Sunday in Maidstone, England.

Join us for another year of apple & cider celebrations, watch as the apples are crushed in our antique cider press and then sample and buy the fantastic juices made from it. Try and buy a variety of Ciders from in and around the county. The event will also include live music, a craft fayre, children's games themed 'all things apple', a bouncy castle*, tractor rides*, face painters*, coconut shy, morris dancing and a magician. Also buy many unusual varieties of apples that cannot be found in the supermarkets.

If you're hungry and craving some delicious seafood, then head on over to Gulf Shores, Alabama. They are celebrating for four fun-filled days this weekend during the 37th Annual National Shrimp Festival.
