© Jeffrey BeallThe Food Network is launching a sister channel dedicated to cooking soon - The Cooking Channel.
To launch next month, The Cooking Channel will offer 24-7 food programming with a different flavor, putting more emphasis on international cuisines, drinks, food culture and advanced cooking techniques.. Together with other Food Network stars, Rachael Ray and Bobby Flay will appear on the new channel.
Said Bruce Seidel, the new channel's senior vice president for programming and production:
"The tone and the style and the feel that we're going for is a little grittier, a little younger, a little more contemporary."
The Cooking Channel is indeed something to look forward to, whether you are a cooking aficionado or not. So watch out for it.
