Strawberry season always finds me with a bowl of what else - strawberries and cream! All these years, I've always had the old standard. I never thought to infuse it with spices. This recipe from Epicurious has me longing for a crate of those succulent lovelies. A crisp meringue is the base for this version of the strawberries and cream. Someone said the recipe seems to be a take-off from the Australian Pavlova. I agree with the commenters that it may be a bit too sweet. I'll cut down on the sugar when I make it.
