Smoothies: Drink up
Filed in archive Recipes on November 7, 2005

When I'm feeling particularly lazy or want to indulge my sweet tooth (semi) guilt free, I make myself a smoothie. I use a recipe that goes together in a snap and has a little extra surprise thrown in at the end:
1 8 oz. container strawberry yogurt
1 handful frozen cranberries
1 handful frozen blueberries
A dash of water
dump everything in a blender and puree until smooth. The secret ingredient? Add a dollop of Cool Whip and blend for twenty seconds. Yum!
Yes, I know this isn't the healthies smoothie in the world but it sure is good. Besides, I figure the adding the fruit makes up for the guilty pleasure of the Cool Whip, right?
