Singing Spaghetti?

When Iska told me how she cooks pasta ala-Soprano, visions of her singing an aria in front of the stove flashed before my eyes. And then I thought it could be spaghetti served to the cast of an opera after a performance at the La Scala. Apparently the lady of Edible Experiments prepares it the way the Sopranos of television fame do it. Hmmm... interesting! Cooking tips from a soap opera. Reminds me of how they always seem to be cooking or eating in the Godfather series that I always end up in the kitchen after watching!

Iska meant taking the pasta out of the boiling water before it was al dente and finishing it in the simmering sauce. The heat of the sauce would be enough to cook the spaghetti. Clever! Saves time and energy.

Check out more of Iska's mouthwatering pasta and noodle recipes. They're fairly easy to prepare.
