One diswasher option we can do without

GE has announced a new type of home appliance, the Profile Dishwasher with SmartDispense. It's a pretty swanky machine that can hold as many as 16 place settings worth of dishes and even has a setting just for washing plastics. The one feature I just don't get, however, is the Smart Dispense System. Apparently, the dishwasher has a reservoir that holds a 45 oz. bottle of liquid detergent "saving the hassle of loading detergent before every wash." Hassle? Of all the things I don't like about cleaning my kitchen after dinner, the 1.2 seconds it takes me to fill the dishwasher detergent receptacle doesn't even register in the top fifty.
The price for this little luxury item can go as high as $1400 (depending on exterior finish). For that price, it ought to come with someone who loads the darn thing. Now that I'd pay for.

That is too much of an item to have me spending. I still want to have the old fashion way of storing dishes.

It's nice to see this is actually happening. It looks like entrepreneurs learn fast that people just don't have time this days. This is the living proof that anything is possible.

It quite expensive but hey people will buy it, at least they won't have any "hassles" anymore. The truth is that I appreciate anything new as long as it's also price reasonable.
