New Kitchen Gadgets

Filed in archive Around The Kitchen on November 19, 2007

Some crazy new kitchen gadgets that have come across my computer screen this week:

The Chef'n Garlic Zoom.
Makes garlic chopping easy and fun.
No one told me that chopping garlic with a knife garlic was difficult and tedious!

There's also the Garlic Genius for your garlic chopping needs.
Just place a peeled clove inside this tool, turn the top, and tiny cubes of garlic emerge from the base.
A nice idea, but a pretty hefty $24.95 price tag!

The Prepara 'Trio' Tri-Blade Peeler.
Blades nest safely within handle of peeler when not in use, each crafted of Japanese surgical steel.
I don't get it. Why do the blades on a vegetable peeler need to retract?

The Van Vactor Pizza Cutter is a nifty looking little thing.
Large wheel's Slicing Slots™ separate hot molten cheese, followed by a smaller finishing wheel that cuts through any remaining cheese or crust.

Forget those little cupcakes, why not serve a big, giant cupcake at your next birthday party. The Wilton Cupcake Cake Pan will let you do just that!

I love looking at what new tools people come up with.
