Recently published is a beautiful looking book, The Country Cooking of France by Ann Willian. I have her scrumptious cookbook, From My Chateau Kitchen and expect that The Country Cooking of France is just as wonderful.

A new release in the UK is Jamie Oliver's Jamie at Home: Cook Your Way to the Good Life.
So Jamie At Home is all about getting down and dirty with nature, growing and cooking your very own produce whether from your garden, allotment or window box. It's easier than you might think and fantastically rewarding if you get it right.

A contemporary cake designer and best selling cookbook author, Lindy Smith, has a new book out, Cakes to Inspire and Desire. Her other titles include Celebrate With A Cake and Party Animal Cakes.
This clever book looks at the shapes of cakes, showing how a simple square or round design can be the basis of a truly beautiful creation. Clear colour photographs and detailed step-by-step display a variety of traditional and contemporary techniques from florals to stripes and cake jewellery.

Rick Stein's latest, Mediterranean Escapes, was released in early August. His cookbooks and recipes show a commitment to the quality of food, are beautifully photographed and full of humorous anecdotes.
