This weekend offers some spectacular food and wine events to enjoy!

Beautiful Monterey, California is hosting their 32nd Annual Monterey Wine Festival.

In 2008 The 32nd Annual Monterey Wine Festival will be celebrating its next decade with a plethora of new additions to the floor and traditional favorites from the past. Drawn by a combination of world-class wine, educational seminars presented by industry leaders, a live wine auction, and exquisite gourmet offerings, the festival will expand to include California wineries sampling more than 600 wines attended by more than 3,000 wine lovers.

For some more wine tasting, head over to the Martha's Vineyard Food and Wine Festival in Edgartown, Massachusetts. This gourmet event offers classes on Beer and Cheese Pairing, Chocolate and Dessert Wine Pairing and Bread Baking as well as a Grand Tasting Event and Gala Dinners.

La Foire de la Pomme (Apple Festival) kicks off in Vimoutiers, France this Friday and runs all weekend. Events include contests for the Most Beautiful Apple and Most Delicious Cider, a parade, live music and the chance to taste delicious local specialties such as apple cider and Calvados.

Apples are also the star attraction at the New York City's Apple Day in New York, New York this Sunday. This family oriented event offers free apple treats, live music and neighborhood walking tours of the Lower East Side.

The Circleville Pumpkin Show in Circleville, Ohio, is the oldest and largest festival in Ohio. There are countless events over the four day festival to enjoy, including the World's Largest Pumpkin Pie, A Hog Calling Contest, a Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest, arts and crafts, live music and a parade.
