That is what's up for grabs at The Tillamook Macaroni and Cheese and Cheese Recipe Contest.

Do you make the best macaroni and cheese you've ever had? Would you like $5,000 along with macaroni and cheese fame? Then it's time you entered the 2008 Tillamook Macaroni and Cheese Recipe Contest.

Six finalists will be chosen to compete in the October 24th grand finale cook-off in Portland, OR (all travel expenses paid). The winner will receive a $5,000 cash prize, 25lbs of Tillamook cheese, and endless bragging rights.

Finalists will be chosen based on unique use of ingredients, taste, and overall creativity (just because it's comfort food, doesn't mean it's not gourmet). At the grand finale cook-off, finalists will prepare their macaroni and cheese recipes from scratch in front of a live audience. Local celebrity judges and culinary experts will judge the dishes to declare a grand finale winner.

Hurry up and get cookin', submissions must be postmarked by Wednesday, July 23, 2008.
