Last Supper Question

About a month ago I wrote about a beautiful new book coming out entitled My Last Supper: 50 Chefs and Their Final Meals, and asked the question of my readers:

If you were to die tomorrow, what would you want for your last meal on earth?

So far, not one response!

Then I realized that I didn't even answer the question myself!
Oops.

So, here is what I would enjoy as my Last Supper.




Champagne
Pimentos de padron
A big, messy plate full of New Orleans BBQ Shrimp
My grandma's homemade gnocchi
A selection of cheeses including Banon a la Feuille, Rocamadour, Beaufort, Selles sur Cher and Bleu de Gex
Fresh blueberries and peaches
Dark chocolate tart
A very strong espresso
