Sandi Fontaine had to bake cookies for her co-workers and her husband needed her for errands. What did she choose? She didn't have to. Both were done at the same time with the same equipment, er... tool? vehicle? Well, her car.
Fontaine first tested her dashboard oven three years ago. She said anyone can do it; the only requirement is for the outside temperature to be at least 95 degrees, so it will rise to about 200 degrees in the car. Temperatures in the area reached the mid to upper 90s on Wednesday.
Hot! Hot innovative idea too!

Now here's a woman KNOWS how to multitask; Baking cookies while at the office! How novel!!! She's a domestic godess and corporate genius all roled into one! The summer sun is so hot...who would ever think of doing something GOOD with it instead of complaining about the heat? I've heard of making lemonade out of lemons but this resourceful lady takes the cake...or uhm...cookie. Way to go Sandi! You're my culinary guru!!!

What car is she using? It sounds to be a huge risk, something is wrong. No car should be that hot inside even if the heaters were turned right up.

There's a story worth to be sent to Myth Busters! I don't think that anybody thought to make a law about cooking in the car, so I don't belive it's illegal.
