Green & Black's Organic Chocolate is offering five grand prizes to win in their Chocolate Challenge.
With similar philosophies and passions for great ingredients, Green & Black's and Curtis Stone have teamed up to encourage home chefs to showcase their taste for organic foodand demonstrate how they incorporate Green & Black's into their favorite recipes.

To enter the Chocolate Challenge, submit your recipe consisting of five ingredients or less that includes at least 2 ounces of Green & Black's chocolate. Include a photo of your finished dish, and an essay that explains your burgeoning taste for organic products and how amazing your recipe was to your friends and family.
The contest ends April 21.
For each valid entry, Sponsor will give $10 to the Toledo Cacao Growers' Association farmers' cooperative in Belize, from which Green & Black's has been procuring cocoa beans under a Fair Trade agreement for several years. These funds, up to a maximum aggregate contribution of $100,000, will go toward the planting and growth of hardwood trees on farmers' land. These hardwood trees, as part of a reinvestment in the indigenous rainforest, will provide 3 main benefits to the farmers: 1) shade that's needed to grow their cocoa plants, 2) increased sustainability of the soil due to balanced nutrient levels, reduced erosion, and protected watersheds and 3) high value woods that can be used by future generations as a cash crop once the trees reach the end of their life spans.
