This Saturday the Barbecue Capital of the World, Lexington, North Carolina, is hosting the 24th Annual Barbecue Festival. More than 100,000 people will be attending this event for it's music, exhibits and famous barbecue.




If you happen to be in South Korea this weekend, check out the International Fermented Foods Expo in Jeonju City, South Korea.

Purpose

- To promote and expose the Korean fermented food industry to the world
· to help transform Jeonju into the country's number one fermented food town

Goose Watch Winery in Romulus, New York, is hosting it's annual Chestnut Festival this Saturday. Head on over for live music, wine tasting and one of the best treats of autumn, roasted chestnuts.

The 17th Annual Food and Wine Fest is on this weekend in Fredericksburg, Texas. Every year people gather in the downtown area to celebrate Texas food, wine, crafts and music.

Elberta, Alabama welcomes around 30,000 this Saturday at the Elberta German Sausage Festival, hosted by the Elberta Volunteer Fire Department. They serve up 7,000 pounds of German sausage along with sauerkraut, potato salad, goulash, hamburgers, hot dogs and ice cream. You'll need a hearty appetite for this event!
