The gorgeous Willamette Valley in Oregon is hosting it's annual Wine Country Thanksgiving from November 23-25. Visitors are invited to explore the beauty of the valley and taste a wide range of Oregon wine from more than 100 wineries. This weekend's event offers a chance to meet the winemakers and sample new releases. Each winery organizes various events such as tastings of local cheeses, art displays and live music.

The annual event celebrating that famous southern delicacy, chitterlings, is on this weekend in Salley, South Carolina at the Chitlin' Strut.
This internationally known festival is located in the quiet, southern town of Salley, South Carolina (population 410) and is held annually the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Each year approximately 25,000 visitors converge on Salley to celebrate one of the more unusual food items available, chitterlings. Quite simply, chitterlings (or chitlin's) are fried pig intestines and have been a southern tradition for over one-hundred years.
The 3rd Annual Grand Central Chili Cookoff gets underway Saturday morning in St. Petersburg, Florida, offering entertainment and refreshments in the historic Grand Central District.
Across the pond, in Llandudno, Wales, is the Celtic Winter Fayre, offering traditional Celtic sweets and drinks, cheeses and other foods produced in Wales, and loads of Celtic crafts.
In Angloulême, located in the Poitou-Charente region of France, this weekend brings Les Gastronomads.
