Food Blogger Wins $1 Million Prize
Filed in archive Food Blogosphere , News , People Who Cook on March 29, 2006
It's been all over the news lately. Anna Ginsberg of Austin, Texas won the $1 Million prize for the Pillsbury Bake-Off in Orlando, Florida. Genius me, I didn't make the connection between Ms. Ginsberg and Anna of Cookie Madness! Shucks, and I thought I was a conscientious lurker on her blog!
It was Anna's Baked Chicken and Spinach Stuffing that edged out the 98 finalists to finally emerge as the winner. The Deseret Morning News has more details and Anna's recipe plus those of the three finalists: Nutty Chicken Dinner Salad, Chicken Fiesta Salad and Breakfast Biscuit Cups with Green Chili Salsa.
For dessert, check out Anna's Peanut Butter Crunch Brownies on her blog. I'm no sweet tooth but am craving one right now!
