Great news and congratulations to Amy from Cooking With Amy. She is the new guest blogger on the newly designed Epicurious website. Bravo! I've enjoyed reading Cooking with Amy in the past and know this new venture will be equally delightful.

Mercedes is on the thirteenth day of her August Ice Cream Challenge over at Desert Candy. She had an epiphany earlier this month and decided to make a different ice cream flavor every day for 21 days. I admire her moxie!

Ms. Glaze has once again returned to the City of Lights after a long holiday in the City by the Bay. Fortunately for us, she's continuing with her fantastic series, Paris on the Terrace. The current "episode" is an amusing instructional video on how to cut up a whole chicken. If you were ever nervous about this task (like I was), have a look and you'll see how easy it can be.
