There are many unique holidays in February. Holidays such as Groundhog Day, Valentine's Day, President's Day and most importantly, National Chocolate Soufflé Day (February 28).
February is also the month in which Lithuania, Sri Lanka, Estonia and St. Lucia celebrate their Independence.
However, did you know that this month is National Bird Feeding Month? (I realize I'm a bit late with this info...)

Bird feeding is a wonderful way to bring wildlife into your garden. Here is some excellent information to help you safely attract our feathered friends and create a year round, delightful activity:

In January 1994, Illinois' 10th District Congressman John Porter read a resolution in the Congressional Record making February "National Bird-Feeding Month". This observance was established because wintertime is one of the most difficult periods in much of North America for birds to survive in the wild.
