There's a little bit of something for everyone going on this weekend around the globe!
Menton, located along the beautiful French Riviera in the south of France, is celebrating the golden lemon for three weekends at their annual Fête du Citron which features parades, fireworks, visits to artisan jam makers and garden tours. The festivities continue through March 2.

The 7th Annual Food and Fun Festival in Reykjavík, Iceland, invites you February 20-25 to come and enjoy all the best food that Iceland has to offer .The name really says it all... Food and Fun is an event which combines outstanding culinary skills, fresh natural ingredients, Icelandic outdoor adventure and the world-famous Reykjavik nightlife to create the ultimate recipe for fun.
The core element of the festival involves world acclaimed chefs who collaborate with Reykjavik's best restaurants. Each chef is assigned to one of the participating restaurants, where they prepare a special menu, made out of Icelandic ingredients only. The menu is presented at all the restaurants for an entire week. In addition, the chefs themselves are on site for three nights during the festival week.
This looks like an amazing event!
Parke County, Indiana, the Covered Bridge Capital of the World, is hosting their Maple Syrup Festival February 22 & 24 and March 1 & 2. The maple syrup producers in the area begin tapping the trees for sap at the end of winter, so let the celebration begin! Go and see how maple syrup is made and sample local maple syrup goodies.
Le Salon International d'Agriculture begins this weekend in Paris.More than 600 exhibitors from the 22 French regions present the assets of their region, its specific features and the best agri-food products:
Come and sample foies gras, terrines, cheeses, wines, liqueurs...!
The International Agricultural Show is the meeting-place for lovers of traditional regional products and products of high tasting quality that have won medals in the Concours Général Agricole.
Also on view will be 600 cows and bulls, 550 sheep, 70 goats and 60 pigs.
In Australia, the 16th Annual Melboure Food and Wine Festival, begins February 22 and runs through March 8. Some of the more than 200 events include the World's Longest Lunch, chef demonstrations, wine and food tasting, regional dinners and educational seminars.
