Wine seems to be the prominent theme this weekend at festivals around the world. There are many spectacular looking events to choose from.

There's the Rocky Mountain Wine and Food Festival in picturesque Banff, Alberta.

...presenting a wide selection of wine, port, scotch, import beer, and other premium spirits, along with sensational food samples prepared by Banff restaurants and hotels. Held at The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and Resort with the rocky mountains as a backdrop, the Festival will maintain its social, relaxed atmosphere in this beautiful venue.

The 27th Annual Vintage Virginia wine festival in Centerville, Virginia offers the chance to taste more than 350 wines from over 50 of Virginia's finest winemakers.

York, Pennsylvania is hosting its First Annual Taste of Pennsylvania Wine and Music Festival this weekend featuring wine from across the state and live music to enjoy.

Down Under in Melbourne, Australia the Good Food and Wine Show invites you to come attend the event and "Unleash Your Inner Foodie."

In California, this weekend and next, the Santa Cruz Mountains Wine Growers Association is hosting their Vintners Festival, "A Taste of the Mountains."
