Coffee addict?
Filed in archive Gadgets on October 12, 2005

Arieanna Foley over at Cooking Gadgets loves her thermal travel coffee mug so much that she was inspired to write about it. She tells readers that it's so leakproof she even tosses it into the same bag as her laptop! Now that's trust. (Why can't babies diapers be that reliable?)
After reading about how much Arieanna loves her mug, I got to thinking about what kitchen essentials I can't live without. At the top of my list is my Cuisinart Grind & Brew Coffeemaker. This isn't just any old coffeemaker that spits out your cuppa joe on command. Oh no, my friends, this is a state of the art machine. My favorite feature is the built-in coffee grinder. You put whole beans in the grinder and it pulverizes them just prior to brewing for what is probably the best coffee I've ever had. It even has a little filter in the bottom of the water reservoir to clean all the little floaties out of the water before it brews. Cuisinart thought of everything when they built this, right down to the soft beep that lets you know when the coffee is done brewing (so you can be first in line).
Now that I've found a way to make the perfect cup of coffee, maybe I should try Arieanna's travel mug so I can take my java with me everywhere.

You totally should! It's cropping up all over the place in stores now. Wasn't easy to find when I got it, but I'll never go back. It's coming with me on my roadtrip to Disneyland tomorrow!
