I am so pleased with my challah!
The detailed recipe was easy to follow, resulting in golden, fluffy, honeyed loaves that were truly sublime.

The recipe comes from an exceptional looking cookbook.
A Blessing of Bread: The Many Rich Traditions of Jewish Bread Baking Around the World by Maggie Glezer, won the James Beard award in 2005 for the best baking book. The author collected recipes from all over the world, many of which were passed down from great-grandmothers and mothers, and had never before been written down.
I will definitely be making this delicious bread again!
