Ben & Jerry's in Bottles
Filed in archive News on February 7, 2006

It's great to be back online! A combination of technical glitches prevented me from posting in the last few days. Now that I'm back, let's get on with some news.
It doesn't seem like a big deal but to me this shows how the world turns so fast. Well, the corporate world that is. Not too long ago, PepsiCo was one of those in the big leagues of multinational food corporations. Ben & Jerry's was a radical startup which went against the flow. Much has happened since then. Ben & Jerry's is now owned by Unilever.
I found out a few hours ago that Pepsi plans to launch a new line of dairy drinks from Ben & Jerry's later this year. In this first license agreement by the ice cream maker, the milk shakes will be refrigerated and bottled in 8-ounce glass containers.
The initial flavour combinations are not yet known but the launch will be in the summer.
Hmmm... I can't find the press release on the PepsiCo website.
