A Summer Kir

Filed in archive Wine by Jennifer on June 27, 2008

Today is one of those days.

I've spent hours staring at this computer screen and scanning the Internet for inspiration. I've rummaged around the kitchen cupboards and looked in the refrigerator a dozen times, hoping that a creative thought will enter my mind.

No such luck. Not today.

We all have days like these. So I've decided to give myself a break, make myself a refreshing, restorative kir* and turn off the computer for the night.

See you tomorrow.

*Un Kir

1 tablespoons crème de cassis
4 ounces cold, dry white winelinks

Pour the crème de cassis into a wine glass.
Add the white wine and stir gently to mix.
