3 Vodka: make mine a double

I'll admit it: when I first heard that 3 Vodka was making vodka out of soy I wasn't sure I'd want to try it. I mean, have you ever tasted soy milk? One look at the the company's website tells me my initial impression was very wrong indeed.

First, the stats: this vodka has zero carbs, no sugars and is the first alcohol beverage to be certified by the American Vegetarian Association. That's all good to know - but what about the most important question: How does it taste? Well, dozens of spirit critics and reviewers have tasted it and proclaimed it to be "utterly smooth," "without peer," and "remarkable in taste."

If you don't usually care for vodka because of it's bite, 3 Vodka is the one to try. I've pulled a couple of drink recipes from their website that sound fantastic:

3Tini
3 parts 3 Vodka
2 tsp Dry Vermouth
Pour Vodka and Vermouth in a
cocktail glass and stir. Garnish
with an olive or lemon peal. Serve
straight up or on the rocks.

Bellini 3Tini
3 parts 3 Vodka
1 part Peach Puree Champagne

The website has dozens more recipes to try (though, surprisingly, not one for Penne ala Vodka). The first one I intend to try is the 3 Woo Woo because it makes me laugh just saying it. Despite its odd origins, I can't wait to sample 3 Vodka .
